DESCRIPTION:\nTHANK YOU TO OUR SPONSOR - GADSDEN SCHNEIDER & WOODWARD LLP\n \n\n \n                           \n \nWe welcome the new year with our first 2025 program presented by Kate Crary, Esquire of the Gadsden, Schneider & Woodward law firm in Wayne, PA.  Her presentation will cover the following items: \n \nEvery estate plan incorporates the same question of critical importance: Who can you rely on to oversee and administer your assets and protect your financial legacy once you are no longer able to do so? This presentation will focus on the various fiduciary roles inherent in estate planning including agents, executors, and trustees, and the factors that must be considered when selecting each type of fiduciary.  Special attention will be paid to situation in which there are limited options available to fill these roles.  We will explore the instances in which independent fiduciaries may be necessary, as well as the pros and cons of utilizing various types of individual fiduciaries and corporate fiduciaries.\n \nKate joined Gadsden Schneider & Woodward LLP in June 2016 as counsel and became a partner of the firm in June 2020.  She began her legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Paul S. Diamond in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Kate received her J.D., magna cum laude, and her LL.M. in Taxation from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her A.B., with distinction, from Cornell University.\n \nKate’s practice focuses on sophisticated estate and tax planning for high net worth individuals, charitable planning, estate and trust administration, and Orphans’ Court litigation, including guardianships. She also has significant experience in the creation and management of nonprofit organizations and charitable trusts.\n
