Our March 7th meeting will have our final educational program for the 22/23 year and we also conduct the Board election for the 2023/2024 council year.  
 
Colleen Neary, Esq. and Jonathan Becker, Esq. will be advising us on the aspects of how divorce can affect estate planning issues.

Colleen M. Neary, Esquire is a founding member of the firm. She graduated with honors from the University of Scranton, earning degrees in Philosophy and Political Science; and received her Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law. Throughout her career, Ms. Neary has focused her practice on matrimonial law matters. Her vast experience enables her to not only reach appropriate and beneficial settlements on behalf of her clients, but also to zealously advocate in court in the event amicable settlement is not possible. She represents clients in every area of family law, including complex equitable distribution of marital property and alimony, preparation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, custody, child support, and business valuation issues.

Jonathan Becker is an attorney at Eckell, Sparks, Levy, Auerbach, Monte, Sloane, Matthews & Auslander, P.C., in Media, Pennsylvania. Jonathan graduated with an A.B. in Political Science from Syracuse University, earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University College of Law, where he was a member of the Willis Society and the Law Review, and earned Advocate of the Year honors, and received his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School. Jonathan has been practicing law for over twenty years, most recently serving as Senior Trust Counsel to Commonwealth Trust Company in Delaware since 2012.  Jonathan’s practice focuses primarily upon the areas of estate planning, estate & trust administration, complex trust and tax issues.
