This program will enlighten us on the different types of insurance products that are available, review the legislation regarding estate tax exclusions/exemptions, cover who needs insurance and the characteristics of life policies, what can be done with existing policies and options available to policyholders and using a policy for charitable purposes. 

Michael C. DeFillipo, CLU® , ChFC®  is a Partner with the 1847 Private Client Group, a financial planning firm in Conshohocken, PA.  He attended Swarthmore College and obtained his Series 7, 63, 65, 66 licenses as well as certifications for Life and Health Licenses-Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®)-Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®)
Michael  joined 1847 Financial in August 2016. He builds lifelong relationships with clients to provide creative and valuable solutions for every stage of life. Michael’s clients continue to work with him due to his passion, dedication and commitment to being a resource for their financial security.
He is also an active participant in the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, authoring several articles for the Council’s Newsletter and has been a speaker at several industry marketing events.  His areas of expertise include Wealth Accumulation Strategies, Retirement Strategies, Personal Financial Analysis, Business Succession Strategies, Estate Planning and Wealth Transfer.
