Our final 2025/2026 meeting will present a Snowbird's Guide to Estate Planning and address the issues for individuals who reside in different states for parts of the year that require careful consideration due to the complexities of multi-state laws and regulations. The issues addressed will cover deterrmining domicle, key planning documents, multi-state challenges, Florida advantages, along with other matters.
Jill R. Fowler, Esquire is a Partner at Heckscher Teillon Terrill & Sager, PC in West Conshohocken, PA . Jill's practice includes estate planning and administration, advising trustees, and charitable planning. She is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, and formerly chaired its Tax Committee of the Probate & Trust Law Section. as well as a member of the Delaware and Montgomery County Bar Associations, Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, and the Florida Bar Association’s Out of State Practitioners’ Division. Betsy J. Joyce, CPA, MBA, MT is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Joyce & Associates, P.C., Certified Public Accountants in Radnor, PA.. Betsy has more than 25 years in public accounting and founded Joyce & Associates P.C. in 1993. Her areas of expertise cover personal financial and estate planning, tax planning and return preparation, representing clients before regulatory authorities, advisory services, investment strategy development, implementation and monitoring as well as wealth counseling for beneficiaries and trustees. She's presented numerous speaking engagements on individual and fiduciary taxation, planning issues for second marriages, executives and fiduciaries, and wealth and family issues.. Her articles published in local and national periodicals cover varied topics including business succession planning, gift and estate tax planning, the role of the CPA in estate planning and administration and selecting a trustee or fiduciary. Betsy is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) serving on numerous committees and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
