COVID-19 has presented numerous challenges in the world since March 2020.  One of the biggest impacts may be in the life insurance industry.  With underwriting processes already changing and additional measures expected to be taken, it is important to stay informed of what is happening in the industry.

Bruce Sham has been a life insurance professional for almost 45 years in his role as a Senior Vice President with Mass Mutual and founder of Special Journey Solutions.  Bruce will provide the most up to date information that is available on some of the things that have already changed including travel restrictions as part of the life insurance application.  Christina Breslin Roberts, a partner with Breslin Murphy & Roberts Elder Law has seen the impacts of COVID-19 that have created estate planning issues.  From delayed insurance payments to lengthy investigations for what may have been previously considered a routine death, attorneys and other advisors should be prepared to help their clients navigate these unchartered waters.
